CARE AND CLEANING

CARE & CLEANING (After each use):

• Carefully hand wash your brace using a soft cloth with mild detergent and luke-warm water solution.
• The padding components are easily and fully removable but the straps remain on the brace for washing.
• Manually flex and extend the brace ensuring the hinge motion is uninhibited and free of sand dirt & debris.
• Never use gasoline, paint or lacquer thinners, benzene or any other solvents, these can adversely affect components of the brace and render the brace ineffective.
• The brace must be completely dry before storing; do not store in direct sunlight, or expose to extreme temperatures.
• Failure to care for your brace may result in various types of skin irritation, pressure points, odour, and reduce your products performance and life.
• Do not make any modification to the knee brace (other than strap lengths), any modification will void all warranties.
• This knee brace has a limited life span and the brace itself or its components should be replaced when they show obvious signs of wear or has been subject to any impact or accident.
• To aid in assessing hinge functionality ‘extension stop’ limit markers (ø) are present on the the hinge assembly. Holding the brace in your hands, manually simulate extension and follow the instructions below.
• Use only PODMX genuine parts when you replace components on your knee brace.

When manually engaging the "Extension Stop" position the limit marker (ø) is NOT visible and the brace is FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY.
